Ian is a professional manager who has held senior management roles in a wide range of organisations in the UK, Europe, Asia and the United States.
After graduating from Cambridge University and completing a Master’s Degree in Operational Research Ian joined the National Coal Board as an Operational Research Scientist where he worked on large computer models of manpower retention and underground coal extraction.
Since 1979 Ian has been Managing Director/CEO of a number of organisations including a start-up technology company based in Silicon Valley and several UK based companies supplying products and/or services to the UK construction market.
In three of the companies he has managed, Ian has been a client of Bubble or of key Bubble people. He joined Bubble as a Non-Executive Director in 2002.
