Mike Bramworth

Mike is a professional manufacturing Engineer.  After Cambridge he joined the automotive supplier T&N to drive in Lean thinking, or World Class Manufacturing as it was known at the time.  He developed his career through lean implementation both within the factory walls and beyond into the supply chain.

By his late twenties he remembers questioning his long term career.

“Lean Manufacturing is so obvious that every manufacturer will have either embraced it or gone bust within a few years. There’ll be nothing left to do”.

He now has a dramatically different view and has committed his career to it.

“There are two layers of waste. That which can be eliminated from the process and that which is locked in by design.” Although Mike does still consult on the former, his real passion is helping companies to design it out from the start.

Mike jointly founded Bubble in 1999 with the intention of joining NPI expertise with the knowledge of what makes a better supply chain.

He has since been involved with clients from all our sectors from Toyota to the MOD.
